What we found

Across 21,325 crawled MSP websites, 2,070 expose a scheduling link — Calendly, HubSpot meetings, Chili Piper or similar. 246 show a live chat widget.

So at least 90% of the market requires a form submission or a phone call to start a conversation, and around 99% offer no synchronous channel at all.

Why it matters

Speed to first contact is the best-documented predictor of win rate in B2B services, and a booking link removes the entire back-and-forth that precedes a first meeting.

There is an uncomfortable symmetry here: firms selling automation and modern work to their clients are, in the aggregate, running a lead process that has not changed since 2005.

What this number can't tell you

  • ·Detection is by page-text pattern, so a widget injected purely by JavaScript can be missed. Read both figures as floors — at least this many, likely more.
  • ·A booking link that exists only behind a client portal login would not be counted.

What to do about it

  • Put a scheduling link on the contact page and in the site footer; it is a same-day change.
  • If you already run chat or booking through a script-injected widget, make sure the link is present in the page HTML so it is discoverable.
